Thermacell Radius Zone TSA Approved Mosquito Repellent (TRA)
The Thermacell Radius Zone TSA Approved Mosquito Repellent (TRA) is a product developed by Thermopack Corporation. It was first introduced in 2013 and it’s been gaining popularity among the outdoor enthusiasts. TRA stands for Thermal Active Protection System. It consists of two parts: a sprayer and a bug catcher.
The sprayer sprays out a fine mist of repellent into the air. When it comes in contact with mosquitoes, they are killed instantly. The bug catcher catches them all and then releases them back into the air.
How does it work?
Mosquitoes have evolved to avoid heat and cold temperatures better than light or sound. They use their sense of smell to locate food sources and water sources where they can survive in different conditions. This means that when there is no wind, mosquitoes will die off faster. However, if there is some breeze blowing, the mosquitoes may still live but they won’t last long. If you’re walking around outside at night time and you come across a group of mosquitoes, chances are they’ll probably get away from you because they don’t want to be near you during the day.
But what happens if there isn’t any breeze? What happens if it’s raining heavily?
With the Creations of the TRA, you can now go out in any conditions without the fear of being bitten by a mosquito. All you have to do is to turn on your bug catcher and it will repel all mosquitoes within its area. It will also attract them so that they can’t fly away. The repellent also prevents other flying insects from entering that area.
