Rockwell Sonicrafter and Rockwell Sonictool Multi-Tools are two of the most popular multi-tool brands among DIYers. They have been around since 1990 and they have been sold worldwide.
These multi-tools are designed to do everything from opening beer bottles to cutting through metal, but what makes them so great? Why do people love these tools so much?
Let’s take a look at some of their features.
The Rockwell Sonicrafter Multi-Tool is available in three different models: the Sonicrafter MK1, the Sonicrafter MK2 and the Sonicrafter MK3. All three models come with a variety of attachments that make it easy to perform various tasks such as screwdrivers, pliers, tweezers, wire cutters and more. The sonicrafters are designed to be used with one hand, which means that you don’t need to hold the tool while working.
You simply reach out and use your fingers or other objects like a pen or pencil.
The Sonicrafter MK1 is the smallest model of the sonicrafters and comes with only four attachment points (two on each side). It is perfect for those who want something small enough to carry around all day long. The Sonicrafter MK2 features six attachment points and is larger than the MK1, but still smaller than the MK3.
For those who plan on using their multi-tool every single day, then you may want to choose the MK3. It has eight attachment points and is the largest model available. There is also an accessory pack that can be purchased separately which comes with two additional attachments that can be placed anywhere on the tool. This pack is perfect for those who want to be able to hold more tools in their hand tool.
The Rockwell Sonictool is a bit different than the sonicrafters. It uses a reverse oscillating mechanism and two-speed control which results in it being able to cut through materials quicker than other multi-tool options. The tool can be used with one hand, but the user still has to apply some pressure in some instances.
It also features a LED light, which is incredibly helpful when working in the dark.
The Sonictool also comes in three different models: The Sonictool 14.4, the Sonictool 14.4-V1 and the Sonictool 14.4-V2.
The only difference between the models is that there are more or less attachments available. The 14.4 is the entry level option, while the 14.4-V1 and V2 come with some more specialized attachments that allow you to work on electronics. They also feature a power indicator on the front of the tool. Like the sonicrafters, there is also an accessory pack that can be purchased separately.
All in all, both the sonicrafters and sonictools are great multi-tools. While they do have their differences, both of them are equipped with everything that you need to get your project done. If you are trying to save money, the sonicrafters may be a better option for you.
If you plan on using your multi-tool for specialized projects then the sonictool multi-tool may be more practical. No matter which one you choose, you can rest assured that when it comes to safety and practicality, both tools come with all of them.
