The Rockler Ready2Router is a high-end router with advanced features. It comes with a built-in CD/DVD drive, Ethernet port, USB ports and WiFi connectivity. It supports both IPv4 and IPv6 protocols. The router can be used to create your own customized network or to connect other devices such as printers, modems, scanners etc..

You can use it for home networking or business networks.

Ready2Router is compatible with Windows, Mac OS X and Linux operating systems. It runs on either 32-bit or 64-bit versions of those operating systems. It is available in two models: the R300 and the R600. Both are capable of handling up to four simultaneous connections at speeds ranging from 10Mbps all the way up to 1Gbps (1 gigabit).

The routers support IPv4 and IPv6 protocols.

The router’s range is between 100 meters and 300 meters depending on the model. The maximum speed achieved with one connection is 10 Mbps while multiple connections can achieve speeds of up to 1 Gbps.

Features of the Rockler Ready2Router include:

• Easy installation – no special tools required; just plug in power supply and RJ45 cable to get started!

• Magnesium die-cast enclosure provides both protection and excellent RF shielding.

• 4 Gigabit ports on the R300 model and 8 Gigabit ports on the R600 model for connecting to devices such as computers, tablets, phones, game consoles, network storage devices, smart TVs, Blu-ray players and more. The speed of each port can be individually adjusted from 10Mbps to 1Gbps.

• 2 USB 3.0 ports on the R300 model and 4 USB 3.0 ports on the R600 model to connect additional devices such as external hard drives, thumb drives, optical drives, keyboards, mice and more.

Rockler Ready2Router vs. ReadyNES

The Rockler Ready2Router is a successor of sorts to the more popular ReadyNES. The ReadyNES has been the standard in home and small office routers for many years. Building on that success, the Ready2Router comes with a host of improvements that make it better in every way.

The main improvement is 4X faster throughput vs. the ReadyNES; this is mainly due to a switch from single core to a dual-core CPU. The Ready2Router also comes with twice the storage and RAM, plus Gigabit Ethernet ports, USB 3.0 ports and a built-in CD/DVD drive.

The Rockler Ready2Router is an excellent compliment to a ReadyNES or ReadyDLNA server. If you have one of these devices, all you’ll need to do is replace the ReadyNES router with the Ready2Router and your wireless devices will be able to enjoy the faster speeds that the new router has to offer. You will also be able to use the Ready2Router’s extra storage and USB ports to share files across your network.

Using the Ready2Router

Upon opening the box, you’ll find the Rockler Ready2Router, a power cord, an Ethernet patch cable, and a quick start guide. You’ll also find a free 6-month subscription to RemotePC. RemotePC allows you to access your home computer from anywhere. For 6 months after activation, you’ll be able to access your files remotely as well as run programs.

After the 6-month period expires, you can renew the subscription if you wish, otherwise you can continue to use RemotePC Free Edition.

Once you’ve installed the Rockler Ready2Router, all you have to do is connect it to your modem and router, then connect your PCs and other devices to it via Ethernet cables or using WiFi. If you need to access the Ready2Router’s CD drive, it’s located on the back of the device.

The Ready2Router can be used in many different ways. It can be used with your cable or DSL modem and also your WiFi router. Alternatively, it can be used as a WiFi extender if you find that you’re having difficulty getting a strong enough signal in certain spots of your home. The Ready2Router can also replace your current WiFi router altogether.

This is especially useful if your current router is very old and no longer up to the task of handling a fast Internet connection.

How the Ready2Router works

When you connect devices to your Ready2Router, they will have their own private IP address on your network rather than a shared public IP address. This allows you to enjoy full functionality without worrying about other people using the same shared IP address to access your network.

The Ready2Router can support up to 253 wired and wireless devices. This allows you to connect all of your desktop computers, laptops, smartphones, tablets, smart TVs, game consoles and more. If needed, you can even set up a guest network so that visitors can access the Internet but not any of your personal files or other network resources.

The Ready2Router is ideal for both home and business use. It’s easy to set up, easy to use and can be used with any modem or router.

Getting started is easy

To get started, just connect your Ready2Router to your modem using the included Ethernet cable. After a few moments, the Ready2Router’s indicator lights will flash and then stop. At this point, your Ready2Router is now listening for connections. All you have to do is connect a device (or devices) to any of the Ready2Router’s Ethernet ports using an Ethernet cable.

After a few moments, the indicator lights will again flash and then stop.

At this point, all network connections are now being handled by the Ready2Router. You can use the Ethernet ports on your router for your own devices. In other words, you can use whatever Ethernet ports you had access to before as your own and any that were shared are now available to other devices on your network.

You can also connect the Ready2Router to your own router if you wish. When doing this, the Ready2Router will become a new fourth port on your own router. If you’re using SpeedBoost on the Ready2Router, all four of your router’s ports will have the same maximum speed.

Industry-leading 1-year warranty

Every Ready2Router is covered by a 1-year warranty. During the first year, you can send it back for a full refund or replacement if you encounter any problems. After the first year, you can still send it back for repairs. However, there may be a service charge depending on how long it’s been.

In order to get a return authorization, you will need to call or email us with your order number and a brief description of the problem. If the problem is due to defective hardware, we will immediately mail you a replacement. If the problem is caused by something else, we may ask you to perform a task to determine the cause.
