MORGANTOWN, WV (WSAZ) — A new restaurant opened up in Morgantown called Monument Grill Review. The owner says it’s the first of its kind in West Virginia.
“We’re going to have a full bar,” said owner John Kuzma. “It will be family friendly.”
The restaurant features four different types of food: burgers, sandwiches, wings and pizza.
Kuzma says they’ll serve alcohol too.
“I think it’s going to be really good,” said customer Steve Johnson. “You’ve got all your favorite things here.”
But not everyone thinks so highly of the new place. Some say they don’t like the fact there are no tables inside, but others say that won’t be an issue because the outdoor seating area is great for families with kids.
“They do have a little bit of room inside, but I would imagine if you were to go out there and sit outside, you’d probably get some heat from other patrons,” said customer James Williams.
While Kuzma says he wants people to come in and try the food before making their final decision, he admits there might be some reservations.
“There are always those people that are going to pass judgment before they even try something,” said Kuzma. “But I think once they try it, they’ll realize this is a good thing.”
Monument Grill Review is located at 835 Duvall Ave. in Morgantown. The business hours are Sunday through Thursday 11 a.m.
to midnight and Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m.
