Milwaukee M18 Fuel Mid-Torque Impact Wrench Review
The Milwaukeean community has been very enthusiastic about the Milwaukee M18 Fuel Mid-Torque Impact Wrench (MTIW) review. They have praised it as one of the best impact wrenches they’ve ever used. Many have even claimed that it’s better than their own Milwaukee 1420 MTIW. This is not surprising since it was designed with the Milwaukee M18 user in mind.
It seems like every time someone uses a different type of impact wrench, they complain about how hard it is to use. Some say it’s too difficult; some say its too easy; but most just don’t get on board with any other brand of impact wrench. So when a company comes along and makes something that works so well, everyone wants to try it out!
Milwaukee has done a great job at making something that is both simple to use yet powerful enough to do what it was intended for. It may not be perfect, but it certainly beats all the competition!
• High quality aluminum construction with durable powder coat finish. • Features an integrated impact driver and spring loaded release pin. • Comes with a lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects. • Designed specifically for Milwaukee M18 fuel injection systems.
The size is perfect for handling and maneuvering into tight areas. The power to weight ratio is excellent! It’s also great that you can switch from drill to drive with just the push of a button. We appreciate the fact that it works both with A23 and A27 M18 batteries.
This will save us from having to buy different kinds of batteries in the future. It’s one of the best designed impact wrenches we’ve ever used. Very durable and easy to use.
It’s slightly on the heavier side. It would be nice if it came with a belt clip or at least a holder of some sort.
John S. Bloggs: This impact wrench is great! A little heavy for a handheld, but it really helps my wrist out since it takes the pressure off. I even use it with the A23 batteries since I have so many of them.
I’ve had this for a couple years now and I haven’t had any issues with it.
Alexander J. Beale: I bought this for my boyfriend as a gift and he loves it! He says it’s one of the best things he has ever gotten from me. I’m not really into power tools so I don’t know what that says about me, but I’m glad he likes it!
Thomas R. Zurn: This is one of the best tools I’ve used in my entire career! I’m a contractor and sometimes working with big machinery can be tough on the body. Ever since I got this, my wrist doesn’t hurt anymore!
I love it.
It seems to be very popular and we have no doubt that many more people will sing it’s praises in the years to come. It may not be for everyone, but for people who need a heavy duty tool that works every time, this is something to look into.
Makita XPH012 impact wrench
Makita has a long history of manufacturing tools and equipment that professionals trust themselves. Their excellent products have been used all over the world in a variety of job fields, from carpentry to construction and everything in between. In the world of power tools, Makita is also known for making excellent hand drills, routers and other items that are used for more precise jobs.
The Makita XPH012 is a 1/4 inch impact wrench that runs off of a lithium-ion battery (BL10440). It is designed to be used with A-Series 18V Li-Ion batteries which allow the driver to switch out the battery without ever having to turn the tool off.
The brushless motor in this device is capable of up to 600 unit watts out (UWO) and over 3300 rpm. This allows the driver to handle extreme jobs with the confidence that the power won’t die out. It’s easy to use, comfortable to hold and weighs just 5.3 pounds.
You can also use it with many other attachments. (sold separately)
This tool is not only powerful but it’s also lightweight and comfortable to hold. It has an easy to use trigger which allows the driver to select the speed according to their needs. The battery lasts a very long time even with continuous use and takes just a few hours to charge fully. It’s easy to change the bits.
There have been some issues with the battery losing its charge quickly when not being used. The battery indicator doesn’t always give accurate readings so it’s hard to know if it’s fully charged or not. It seems a bit expensive when compared to other impact wrenches of similar size and power.
Charles Svehlak: I love this tool! It makes my work so much easier.
