How To Use The Quick Release:

Hold the knife in one hand with your index finger through the trigger guard. Place your thumb on the flat portion of the blade near the top. Put pressure on the blade near the tip while pushing down on the handle to release the lock and open the knife.

To close the knife place your thumb on the back of the blade while pushing down and forward on the handle to lock the blade into place.

CAUTION! When closing the knife, make sure your fingers are not in the path of the blade. Always be sure to close the knife slowly to avoid any injury.

The safety lock is located near the top of the knife and is pushed to release and pull to engage.

Push down on the lock to release the blade.

To close the knife put pressure on the top of the handle and push up while sliding the blade closed. The knife will stop when it reaches the safety lock, putting the knife back in the locked position. Make sure your fingers are clear of the path before closing the knife completely.
