The Makita 12Vmcc has received many positive reviews from customers who have bought the product in the past. Most customers were satisfied with how well it worked and some of the different tasks they used it for.
One customer mentioned that he bought this product to cut through the metal covering around his air conditioning unit. He used the 3.5 inch multi-tool blade and was able to cut through it with ease. He said that he then used the screwdriver attachment which worked great for unscrewing various bolts.
He said that he also used the pliers which were strong enough to bend a nail into a curve shape! He was quite impressed with the quality and sturdiness of the tool.
Another customer used it to cut through the insulation on his water pipes. He said that he didn’t have any protective equipment and the tool did not cause him to feel any dust or anything. The customer said that he was able to easily cut through the hard insulation with no problem at all.

There are two other versions of the Makita cordless multi-cutters, the Makita 18V version and the MAKITA 18V LXT version. The MAKITA 18V LXT has more power than the MAKITA 18V version but it is heavier and more expensive. Some people may not need all the extra power or want to pay for the extra power that they will never use.
The MAKITA 18V version is similar to the MAKITA 18V LXT, except it doesn’t have as much power. Some people may not require all the extra power or don’t want to pay for the extra power that they will never use.

Greatly improved from its predecessor
By Steve B. “bigred” (New Jersey) – See all my reviews
I bought this to replace my 12V Max which I returned after finding out that it had the same flaw as the old one, a tendency to stop working without any external influence. I don’t know which was worse, the original 12V or the newer model. I also don’t want to believe that one of the major tool companies would ship a product with such a glaring flaw but there it is. I use my tools a lot so going months without them is a deal breaker for me.
I really hope that this one lasts me years because it is an excellent tool. Powerful, lightweight and compact. So far so good. (For the record, I bought and returned two 12V Maxes before getting this one).
I don’t understand the negative reviews for a product that works as it should

I bought this a year ago and use it for drilling holes in concrete and asphalt with anchor bolts, and cutting anchor bolts to length. It has been flawless.
