Kobalt 80V Chainsaw Reviews: What’s New?
The new model from kobalt is called “80V” which stands for “voltage”. The name means it will run at a higher voltage than the previous models. That means if you are using it with a battery pack, you may need to use a bigger one or change the batteries. Also, the price tag will increase since this model comes with more features and better performance.
What’s New About Kobalt 80V Chainsaw?
There are two things that have been added to the tool. First, there is a new feature called “Cable Cutter”. The cable cutter allows you to cut cables easily without having to remove the jaws of the saw. Second, there is a new feature called “Power Cord Stripper”, which makes removing cords easier. Both these tools are great additions and they make your life much simpler when cutting wires or other cords.
How To Use Kobalt 80V Chainsaw?
First, you’ll want to get a good grip on the handle of the saw so that it doesn’t slip out of your hands. Then, you’ll just need to push down on the top part of the blade while turning it clockwise until it cuts through the wire or cord. You can then pull up on the bottom part of the blade to finish off any remaining strands. To remove the bottom part of the blade, you should use your other hand to push down on the button that is visible at the bottom of the blade. Then, you can pull up on it with your other hand to finish removing it. Afterward, you can start stripping off the outside layers of the power cord using the “Power Cord Stripper”. There is a small hole at the bottom of the saw that can be used to pull out the stripped off material.
How Does Kobalt 80V Chainsaw Work?
First, the tool needs to be charged for it to work. In order to charge it, you just need to plug in the power cord into a socket and connect it to the back of the tool. It should take about an hour and a half to give you an hour of use. The power cord should be unplugged after every use since it may cause short-circuiting if it isn’t. In order to start using the tool, you’ll need to pull out the black trigger at the bottom of the handle. You should then push down on the red button found near the top of the handle and pull down on the trigger at the same time. After you let go of the trigger, you should continue pushing down on the red button and pull down on the trigger once again to make sure you’ve cut through everything.
Most Common Problems With Kobalt 80v Chainsaw:
The most common problem that people experience when using this tool is that it tends to shut off unexpectedly in the middle of a job. This can cause a lot of problems since it might cause the chain to get jammed or thrown off track. The reason why it might be shutting off is due to the fact that you may not be using the tool for an extended period of time. The tool needs a break after every use in order to prevent overheating or motor failure.
Other common problems that occur are that the chain tends to get stuck on one side when you try to remove it and the battery life indicator starts blinking red a lot faster than it should. In order to fix the first problem, you might need to take a look at the chain and make sure that it isn’t getting caught on any of the saw’s protrusions. If that doesn’t work, then you’ll have to replace the chain since it has gotten worn out and isn’t cutting through things as well as it should be. To fix the second problem, all you need to do is to let the tool cool down for half an hour and then it should work normally once again.
Who Is The Kobalt 80V Chainsaw For?
Basically anyone who needs to cut through thick or thin objects can make use of this tool. The best kinds of people who would use this are those who have a large garden and need to trim the edges or clear out small bushes and shrubs. The professional landscapers would find this tool very useful since they tend to do a lot more work than the average homeowner.
However, those who just need to do some light pruning around the house might find that it isn’t worth spending the money on this tool when there are cheaper and more convenient options available to them.
Instead of purchasing a tool like this, you might find that renting one is more convenient and less of an expense in the long run. Some local hardware stores or rental shops should have a chainsaw you can use from time to time.
If you don’t mind spending a little bit of money, then buying your own electric pole saw might be better since it will be more convenient and you won’t have to worry about returning it.
If you’re not interested in either of those options, then you could just use a good old fashioned hand saw. It may take you a little bit longer, but it will get the job done if you don’t have many trees or bushes to prune.
The Greenworks PRO 80V is a good tool to have if you need to do some medium-sized pruning jobs on a regular basis. It’s easy to take care of and maintain, so you won’t have to worry about it breaking or malfunctioning as long as you use it properly and take the time to sharpen the chain every once in a while.
Of course, it isn’t for everyone, and if you just need to do some light pruning every once in a while then it might not be worth the money. You’d be better off renting one from your local hardware store or buying a cheap hand saw and taking your time.
If you want to save yourself some time and effort, then the Greenworks PRO is an excellent option for you. It might be expensive compared to other models, but it works very well and you can rest assured that it won’t break or malfunction as long as you take good care of it.
