Harbor Freight 2011 Black Friday Deals
Black Friday is just around the corner! You have been waiting all year for it and now that time has finally arrived, you are ready to get your hands on some great bargains.
But what do you look for when shopping? What items will make up your list of purchases?
Well, if you’re like most people then there’s probably one or two things on there that you’ve never even heard of before. So let me tell you right now, I’m not going to give you any of those items. That would be silly. Instead, I’ll show you some products that are worth looking at and maybe buying because they might actually save money than buying them new.
I don’t want to bore you with all the details of what exactly is going on so here’s a quick summary: Black Friday is coming soon and stores are starting to open early. Stores are offering huge discounts on their products.
Some of these sales may seem too good to be true, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t real. And that’s why I think you should take advantage of them!
The first thing you need to decide is whether you’re going to go out and shop in person or buy something online. If you live near a big box store (like Walmart) then you probably won’t have much choice in where to spend your hard earned cash.
Personally, I don’t really like big box stores that much (they’re a little too big in my opinion) so I tend to shop online. The prices are usually the same, if not cheaper and I don’t have to deal with all those annoying customers bumping into me.
If you’re going to be buying online then I have one very important tip for you: Check out the reviews!
It seems simple enough right?
Well, you’d be surprised at how many people forget to do it. The reason why I’m mentioning this is because a lot of these cheap products aren’t known for their quality and will break quickly. Thus, you may end up spending more money in the long run if you buy something that doesn’t work too well. If you see that many people have had a problem with a certain product then it’s probably best to look for something else.
On the other hand, if you don’t mind buying something that’s a little riskier then by all means go right ahead! Personally, there are some items that I wouldn’t buy online (like big items like furniture or appliances) but I have no problem with buying small stuff.
For instance, I was looking at some Christmas lights the other day because we need new ones and I found these really cool LED lights that were only $7 (and they’re supposed to last for years!
Also, if you’re wanting to buy for your home then you should really consider some of the tools.
I mean, you use tools around the house all the time so it only makes sense to have your own set, right?
My favorite tool is a cordless drill. You can use it for tons of different things and they’re really cheap nowadays. I got a really nice one from Harbor Freight (a discount tool store) for under $40 and it works great!
Now I know a lot of guys (and girls) like to shop for clothes or shoes so if that’s the case then you may want to head over to your local department store. They usually have huge sales on this day so you’ll be able to get some really nice items for cheap.
Personally though, I don’t buy too much clothing because I’m not very good at picking out what styles are in and what styles aren’t. And no, I won’t buy anything pink!
No matter what you decide to buy, just make sure you spend wisely and keep safety in mind. Don’t overspend and get yourself into debt and remember to drive safely!
Until next time!
Hey, it’s Mike again! Just a quick word to let you know that this will be the last Word of the Day for 2015.
Starting in 2016 we’re going to try something new. Instead of a Word of the Day each day we’re going to do it weekly on Fridays.
I hope everyone has a great Christmas and New Year! See you all in 2016!
