Go Green LED T8 Retrofit Bulbs Review

What are the advantages of using a t8 led bulb?

The main advantage of using a t8 led bulb is that it provides better lighting than regular incandescent bulbs. There are many benefits from using a t8 bulb over standard incandescent bulbs:

1) Better Lighting Quality – With higher quality lighting, your home will look brighter and more beautiful.

You can enjoy watching TV or playing games with less eye strain.

2) More Energy Efficient – A t8 bulb uses less energy than a standard incandescent bulb.

This means you’ll save money on electricity bills.

3) No Heat Issues – When compared to other types of bulbs, t8 bulbs don’t produce any heat when used at full brightness.

This means they won’t cause discomfort during summer months like other types of lights do.

How does the double ended led t8 work?

A double ended led t8 works differently than regular incandescent bulbs. They have two different circuits inside them. One circuit is designed to provide a bright white light while the second circuit provides a warm yellowish glow. These two circuits are connected together through a metal plate which acts as the ballast. The ballast regulates how much power each type of bulb produces, thus ensuring that both circuits operate at their maximum efficiency. There are a few types of double ended led t8 bulbs out in the market. These bulbs are also known as dimmable, tunable white, energy saving, and daylight balanced. Each type has their own set of advantages and disadvantages. It is important to choose the right bulb before making a purchase.

What are the benefits of using tunable white (colour tune) t8 led bulb?

The tunable white t8 led bulb provides the highest quality lighting when compared to other types of bulbs. These bulbs can change their colour temperature from a bright white (6500k) to a dimmer, warmer glow (2500k). These bulbs are great for people who have trouble sleeping. By setting your bulbs to 2500k you can give your room a warm, comforting glow that helps you drift off to sleep. You can also save money by setting your bulbs to a bright white colour temperature. These bulbs are extremely versatile and can be used in bedrooms, TV rooms, kitchens, and living rooms.

What are the benefits of using energy saving t8 led bulb?

The energy saving t8 led bulb is designed to save you money on your electricity bill. These bulbs are twenty to thirty percent more efficient than standard incandescent bulbs. They also last ten times longer than other types of bulbs. You’ll save a lot of money by choosing these over other types of bulbs. These bulbs are a great choice for hallways, basements, garages, kitchens, and gardens.

What are the benefits of using daylight t8 led bulb?

The daylight t8 led bulb is designed to replicate natural daylight. These bulbs make it easier for you to see colours accurately. If you do any kind of work that requires you to see colours clearly, then you should seriously consider buying these bulbs. Artists and designers love this type of bulb because it makes colours appear much more vibrant. These types of bulbs are also great for staircases, backyards, and parks.

What are the different colour temperatures of t8 led bulbs?

The different colour temperatures measure the warmth or coldness of lights. Colour temperature is measured in degrees Kelvin (K). The lower the number, the warmer the light. The higher the number, the colder the light. Here are some examples to better help you understand.

2000K- Yellowish/Orange Lights: Great for outdoor security lighting.

3500K- Warm White Lights: Most common color temperature. Best for general interior lighting.

T8 LED Replacement Tube Facts

Linear T8 tubes are known by their designation of “T8” followed by their diameter and length. Commonly used in supermarkets, hotels and warehouse buildings, these tubes have become a common sight in almost every part of the country. With an average life span of 20,000 to 25,000 hours and above, they are now considered as the industry standard.

T8 LED offers energy savings between 70% and 85% compared to an incandescent bulb. It’s initial cost is slightly higher than that of an incandescent bulb, but the energy savings more than makes up for it.

The light color that T8 LED tubes produce is cool daylight. It’s relatively close to sunlight which makes colors look vibrant and eyes less strained.

T8 LED tubes have a diameter of 8 cm and a length ranging from 5 to 42. They are easy to install and can be used in various fixtures, of different shapes and sizes. The lights can easily be connected to most ballasts. For quick reference, you may find it useful to refer to the T-Library section on this page. Here, you will find detailed specifications of the most popular T8 tubes.

T8 tubes, unlike incandescent lights, don’t get very hot at all. This makes them more durable and safer to use. It’s very rare for the T8 tube to break down as opposed to the common incandescent bulb that tends to burn out after 1,000 hours of use.

T8 LED tubes, despite being more expensive than their incandescent counterparts, offer much higher savings. They are more energy efficient with a life span that lasts at least 10 times as long as that of the incandescent bulb.

T8 LED tubes are an excellent replacement for incandescent bulbs. More and more businesses are switching over to this more reliable, longer lasting and brighter lighting system. With our help, we’re sure you’ll find the right one for you and your business.

How To Choose The Right T8 LED Bulb

Wattage – Ignore the wattage that is printed on the side of the tube. This is referring to watts consumed, not the light output. To get a better idea of how bright the bulb is, check out the Lumen rating (it’s in the specs box). The higher this number, the brighter the light.

Color Temperature – This is also in the specs box. The temperature is given in Kelvin. A higher number means a whiter/cooler light and a lower number means a warmer/yellow light. This measurement can be compared to the temperature of a candle or the sun, with 3000K being very similar to the warm glow of a candle and 6000K being very similar to daylight. Different lights can have very different “temperatures” but still have the same color (obviously this isn’t true in the reverse).

For example, clear incandescent bulbs can give a yellow light even though the temperature is around 2800K.

Lumen – This is the total amount of light put out by the bulb. Higher numbers are brighter.

Size – Obviously this is just how big the bulb is.

Availability – This is how common the bulb is. The more common the bulb, the more likely you are to be able to buy replacements down the line. Trust when we say youll want to replace bulbs eventually.

Brand – There are many different manufacturers out there that make great products. Some are more recognized than others, but just because a bulb is made by a “big name” company doesn’t necessarily mean its good, and conversely, just because a bulb is no known company doesn’t mean its bad. Look at the specs of each bulb to see how they compare.

Price – Obviously this is an important factor. The price is in the specs box next to the lumen count. The box is color coded to help you find the best value (with green being best and red being worst).

With all of this information, its easy to compare different bulbs. For example, lets compare a few different 4 foot T8 tubes that we offer.

This is a great bulb with excellent lumens per watt efficiency and a great price.

This is another excellent bulb with good lumens per watt and a very reasonable price.

While this bulb has the highest lumen per watt ratio, its more than double the price of the first two bulbs. This high price is mostly due to the brands marketing budget rather than the cost of production.

All of our bulbs are eligible for re-stocking, so if you find you dont like the bulb you picked out or it just doesnt meet your needs you can return it within 6 months of purchase (as long as you have more than 75% of the bulbs still in original packaging).
