Draw-Tite® Max-Frame™ Receiver Review:
The Draw-Tite® Max-Frame™ Receiver Review is one of the most popular receivers on the market today. With its unique design, it provides a simple and effective solution for your needs. It’s easy to install with no tools required and offers many benefits over other designs. The design allows for maximum flexibility when installing or removing the receiver from your vehicle.
In addition to being very easy to install, the design of the Max-Frame Receiver also offers several advantages over other designs. For example, it does not require any welding or cutting of metal parts. You simply screw in the receiver and bolt it down. Another advantage is that there are no exposed bolts which may come loose during normal operation.
The receiver is held securely into place by two screws located at each end of the body. If you have a truck with a flat bed, then you will need to use some sort of brackets to hold the receiver in place.
As far as safety concerns go, the Max-Frame Receiver is considered “Class III” because it requires a special license plate bracket to mount on your vehicle. Also, if you plan on using the receiver in conjunction with an automatic transmission, then you must install an adapter kit that converts your automatic transmission into a manual one. This is because the receiver is attached to the tail-shaft of the transmission and, as such, manual operation becomes necessary.
The Draw-Tite Max-Frame also offers a variety of different options to choose from in terms of style and size. The frame can be constructed from either steel or aluminum construction which affects its overall weight. The design also offers three different styles including Full, Medium, or Pan-El. All of these options allow you a great deal of flexibility in terms of what you want and need.
Despite the large size of the receiver itself, it only offers a gross towing weight capacity of 10,000 lbs. This means that if your trailer weighs more than 10,000lbs then your vehicle isn’t going anywhere! This an extremely heavy duty receiver and is really intended for commercial purposes rather than personal ones. In other words, unless you are a large-scale delivery company, you’re probably over-killing it with this particular model.
If you need to tow something very heavy then the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Receiver would be a good choice. It’s one of the most common receivers available mainly because it can handle just about anything you throw at it. It is, however, a very large, heavy and expensive part to buy and install. Unless your job or hobby specifically requires such a part, then you probably don’t need this much power in your receiver.
