The DCN693M1 comes in two models: one for use on wood and the other for use on concrete or brick. Both models have a maximum working pressure of 15 pounds per square inch (psi). A simple adjustment on the handle allows you to change the working pressure. You can adjust it from 12 psi to 30 psi. When used on wood, it’s rated for up to six nails at once, but only three nails at any given time will be able to go through a piece of lumber. When used on concrete or brick, it’s rated for up to four nails at once, but only two nails at any given time will be able to go through a piece of lumber. The DCN693M1 is equipped with a safety feature called “Safe Stop.” If the handle is not held firmly down, the motor stops immediately. Safe Stop prevents accidental damage to your workpiece.
