Bosch GLL2-80 Laser Level Review
The Bosch GLL2-80 is a laser level with a range of up to 2000 feet (600 meters). Its power consumption is less than 1 watt, which makes it ideal for indoor or outdoor applications. The laser’s beam width ranges from 0.1″ to 5″.
The laser comes in two versions: one with a hand grip and another without. The hand grip version costs $399 while the non-hand grip version costs $499.

Uses for a Laser Level
Interior Walls and Floors
Perhaps the most popular use for laser levels is in interior design. Whether you’re looking to remodel your home or just tired of the plain default walls, a laser level can be used to quickly and easily create custom walls and floors to make your house truly your own.
Using a laser level when remodeling your home is as easy as drawing a design on paper and transferring it over. Using a laser level to create straight lines is easy. Simply place the base of the tool on the starting point for your line and turn it on. The laser is strong enough to pierce glass and will reflect off of most other surfaces. If you need the line to go up a wall, just hold the tool against it and run the beam up to the point where it meets the ceiling.
Then, use your hands to continue drawing the line around the entire room, wall by wall.
After you finish one line, run the laser along it again. Wherever the laser hits, the line will be drawn. You want to do this at least twice for every wall in order to make sure that they’re all the same height.
